PING announced today that two-time Masters champion Bubba Watson has signed a “lifetime” contract to represent the company. Terms of the agreement were not released, but PING confirmed the contract extends the relationship well past Watson's expected PGA Tour career.

The pink G, which is limited to 6,000 units, will also come with a Bubba Watson character headcover, and will retail for $600. Before you get all worked up about the price, it's imperative to note that for each of pink G drivers sold, PING will donate $60 to the Bubba Watson Foundation.

Watson, a two-time Masters champions and 12-time tour winner, revealed last month that he was leaving the tour after 17 seasons to join the LIV series. The 43-year-old is still recovering from a knee injury that has kept him from competing since the PGA Championship in May.

One of few left-handed tour golfers, Watson has consistently been among the longest drivers; in 2007, he had an average drive of 315.2 yards (288.2 m). He can hit a ball over 350 yards (320 m) and up to 194 mph (312 km/h).

It was reported that he received in excess of $50 million for joining LIV Golf, but he says these numbers for him and other players are grossly inflated. In 2023, Watson plans to play all 14 LIV events and the Masters.
