Who is Rhys Hoskins?

Rhys Hoskins is an American baseball player, not a commercial actor. He was born on March 17, 1993, in Sacramento, California. Hoskins is a first baseman and outfielder for the Philadelphia Phillies of Major League Baseball (MLB).

Hoskins attended Jesuit High School in Carmichael, California, where he played baseball. He went on to attend California State University, Sacramento, where he played for the Sacramento State Hornets baseball team. In the 2014 Major League Baseball draft, the Phillies drafted him in the fifth round.

Hoskins made his MLB debut in 2017 with the Philadelphia Phillies. In his first 50 at-bats, he hit 11 home runs, becoming the fastest player in MLB history to reach that milestone. In 2018, Hoskins led the National League in walks and played in the MLB All-Star Game.
