John Carroll Lynch is an American actor , director, and editor. He was born on August 1, 1963, in Boulder, Colorado, and raised in Denver. Lynch found a passion for acting in Denver and graduated with a B.F.A. in theater from The Catholic University of America/Hartke Theatre Acting program in the mid-80s. He has appeared in many films and TV shows throughout his career , including Fargo, The Walking Dead, American Horror Story, and The Trial of the Chicago 7. Lynch has also directed and edited several films.
