Who is Alex McGregor?

Alex McGregor is a well-known South African commercial actor. She was born in Johannesburg and grew up in Durban, where she attended Durban Girls' College.

Alex's parents nurtured her love for the arts from a young age, and she began performing in school plays and musicals. Despite this, Alex decided to study journalism and media at the University of Cape Town.

After graduating, Alex worked as a producer on various TV shows and films before deciding to pursue acting full time. It was then that she landed her first commercial gig for a South African telecoms company.

Since then, Alex has become one of the most recognizable faces in South African advertising, starring in ads for multiple brands, including Standard Bank, Vodacom, and Chevrolet. Her excellent performances in these ads have earned her several awards, including three Golds and a Silver at the Loerie Awards (the most prestigious awards in the South African advertising industry).
